We are very proud to present a unique oppurtunity to learn everything involved in creating Collodion Wet Plates from a Master of the art. John Brewer is a practicing wet plate photographer and also a licensed distributor of the chemistry required for this exciting process. The course runs over 2 days, where John will share his extensive knowledge over a variety of subjects including, Cameras and lenses (New & Old) he will give you a very interesting introduction to all equipment needed for the process and an in depth rundown of all the chemicals required. Over the two days you will learn how to prepare, coat, expose, process and finish wet plates. John will then also show you how to varnish your images to keep them safe. Having personally enrolled on one of Johns workshops, we are certain that you will learn and leave feeling confident enough to start on your own! See the video of our experience below:

You will receive a 30 page workshop manual, free of charge after completing the course, John also offers a 10% discount to all students on the chemicals and materials required to go at it alone.

Included in this kit is:

500ml collodion
1 litre of developer
500ml varnish
Silver nitrate 100g  (this is for plates up to 8″x10″)
Silverbox

It usually costs £214 but after taking part on this course you can get it for only £192.
