Understanding a photograph John Berger


A staple of the reading list given to any photography student.  Understanding a photograph by John Berger is fundamental reading for artists & photographers alike. Throughout the book Berger sparks thought, gives opinion and reads into some of the most famous imagery of its time. This isn’t a book on photography as a visual art, it’s and exploration into what that visual art communicates. Made up of a collections of essays it’s sure to garner opinion. John Berger is a heavily respected writer in the visual arts, and has written a collection fantastic books that are must read for any budding photographer, young or old.

We’re doing this one a bit cheaper as it has been used and has a few specs of coffee on it. But all pages are good as new!
